Due to fear of fitnah, (temptation, unrest) it is unlawful for a Muslim to employ women in his company. But, if it is severely needed or it is expedient, precautionary measures should be adopted strictly so that the fitnah is curbed, like (a) arrangement of veil for all women without any discrimination, (b) ban of meeting of male employees with women employees but in exigent cases, (c) the women are asked to work only in daytime and they should be given necessary protection.
