In the absence of a Muslim doctor's opinion that the pregnancy and the delivery of a child will be physically fatal for her or for the baby; abortion is not allowed as it contradicts the clear ruling by Allah in the Quran "and kill not your children for fear of want. We provide sustenance for them and for you."
