Fatwa Question or Essay Title:
What is the ruling on declaring someone an apostate who follows one of the Sunni schools of law (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi and Hanbali) or the Shia schools (Zaydi, Ibadhya, Al dhahirya and Jafari) [see glossary].

All the Muslims categories is part of the Islamic nation. Finding the difference between these Muslim categories/sects is against the teaching of Quran and sunna. This also lead to weak the union of Muslims and give excuses to the enemies of Muslims. So it is not permissible to declare anyone who follows one of these schools an apostate.
