Muhammad bin Saalih al-Uthaymeen

Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-Uthaymeen (1925-2001) was among the most prominent Salafi scholars of his time in Saudi Arabia. He studied under figures such as: Abd ar-Rahman as-Saadi, Muhammad Ash-Shanqeeti, and Abd al-Aziz ibn Baaz. He became renowned for his knowledge in fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), eventually compiling over fifty books on the subject.
